Purpose: Work on foot movement to get in good position for passing, get plenty of passing reps and work on player conditioning
How it works: Players get into groups of 3 with one passer at the net and tossers on both sides of the net, a few feet behind the attack line. Tosser #1 tosses to the passer, the passer passes the ball back to them and then sprints and touches the tosser's kneepad before sprinting under the net and preparing to pass a ball from the second tosser.
Variation: Start with four players, including one passer on each side of the net. The drill proceeds the same with passers passing at the same time and switching sides when they sprint back to the net.
Requirements: Groups of 3-4 players, a full court and a cart of balls
