Jim Stone describes how Hentz initially reacts and moves to the attack, before contact is actually made.
When digging the outside attack, Hentz starts in her base position near the left sideline. But as the ball is being attacked, Hentz shifts several strides into the middle of the court and drives hard with her body to meet the ball in the middle of the court. What makes Hentz such a great defender is how she attacks the dig and reacts as the attack is happening, not after.
