Karin Keeney of Hebrin Hawks Volleyball encourages club coaches to involve parents in the little things required to run a team: reffing lines, supplying food for tournaments, finding spaces for team bonding, and even getting supplies for practice. Engage parents in the club and it will allow you, as a coach, to focus more on your team.
This type of engaged relationship between a coach and a parent can increase trust amongst club and high school program families, administration and coaches. This can result in fewer parent-coach conflicts.
