Purpose: To encourage players' effort while also increasing ball control
How it works: Start with two players on the court in front of the 10-foot line with a coach on the net. The coach begins inputting balls into the players who must both touch the ball to get it back to the coach. The catch: the ball must stay below the top of the antennae. Keeping the ball low makes this a conditioning drill while also forcing players to really focus on controlling the ball and not putting it sky high.
Variations: Use this drill with your middles to help them become more adept at the short game ball.
