Jim Stone covers how a team can defend the occasional setter attack (often referred to as a "dump").
Once a team knows that the pass is not coming back over the net, all eyes need to be on the setter's movements. When the setter contacts the ball, the back row diggers should all cinch in to prepare for the setter's dump. The left and right back row diggers should take several steps inside of the court to prepare for the tip. The left and right side blockers can also cinch in to help out with the dump.
