Because she has long legs, Tera Detels is accustomed to a 3-step slide approach, but here she demonstrates a 4-step approach that is commonly used by middle blockers at all levels.
For the slide to be most effective, middle blockers have to take a forward approach step toward the setter to make it look as if they might hit a “One.” Middles often use a 4-step approach for the "Slide," but Tera prefers 3 steps, so that's what she demonstrates here.
