This 6 v 6 drill, introduced by Karch Kiraly, involves winning an additional point to validate a winning score.
The way it works: Teams start at 22-22 or 23-23 and once a team wins the game to 25, it has to win one more point to get the victory.
In this video, Karch includes an extra criterion – the serve for the winning point has to be flat and clean. If the serve is too high or has too much spin, it doesn’t count for a point, even if the serving team wins the rally.
