Clinician: Russ Rose, head women’s volleyball coach at Penn State
Purpose: To work on single-block scenarios through a high-intensity drill
How it works: In this five-on-five, no-middles, no-tipping drill, the two pin attackers hit against a single block while the defense works on digging behind that block. Start with a down ball from a coach and play games to five, seven or nine points. Winners remain on the court to face five new players.
Requirements: 10 players, a cart of balls, a coach and a full court
