Purpose: Teach players to set from the backrow and learn how to adapt to out-of-system plays.
How it Works: One player is in right front with one outside hitter and two defenders. Both sides set up with this orientation. A ball is initiated into either side of the court. Whoever sets the ball (try to have your back-row players set) then follows their set and becomes the next hitter. The hitter then takes whatever position the setter just left from.
Requirements: At least 8 players, balls and a full court.
