Western Washington coach Diane Flick runs a drill here that discourages unforced errors and helps players handle high-pressure points.
The way it works: The game goes to 15, and teams can't have any unforced errors between 0 and 5. They can make one unforced error between 6 and 10 and none between 11 and 15.
Flick has her team play this drill until one team wins, even if it means starting over multiple times after unforced errors. This helps players get used to swinging aggressively for big points and dealing with the pressure of trying to close out a close fifth game.
