Christy Johnson-Lynch runs players through a game-like drill that isolates point scoring off serve and in serve receive.
To run the drill, players split into teams of six. One team is designated the serving team, and the other team is designated the receiving team. Both teams start (and stay) in rotation, and the serving team initiates balls until a big point is scored.
The receiving team scores a big point by siding out three times in-a-row. The serving team earns a big point by scoring two points off their serve in-a-row. After either team scores a big point, the serving team becomes the receiving team and the drill resets. Players stay in the same rotation for a set amount of time before moving on to the next rotation.
