Let's face it, if you're 4-feet tall, a volleyball net at standard height looms large, and it isn't easy figuring out how to pass or set or hit. But simplifying the skills -- for instance, allowing kids to catch the ball rather than making them pass it -- allows developing players to experience what's fun about the sport as they go through the learning process.
