This a great drill and a fun twist on regular scrimmaging. University of British Columbia Coach Doug Reimer explains it here as his players demonstrate. The number of contacts your players will get in Triple Ball will probably be about double the number they’ll get in a regular scrimmage, Reimer says. And there are plenty of variations, allowing you to focus on different skills.

I like the physical activity created by the triple volleyball drill. It seemed to keep more players active and practice at a higher endurance level.
