How it Works: Have players find one of the panels on the ball with a big purple dot. The purple dots are reference points for teaching and learning essential top spin. Have players begin with the ball in their off (non-striking) hand with their arm extended. One dot should be facing towards the player with another purple dot facing up towards the ceiling. Players should think about sending their striking hand toward the top purple dot so that they are learning to strike across the top third of the volleyball.
