Many players get used to landing on one leg throughout their club years; however, this bad habit can leave players prone to injury. Learn techniques to re-train players to land on both feet.
How it works: There are two basic components to avoid the one-legged landing:
Stay stable and level through the shoulders by avoiding reaching across the body. This depends on timing, described below.
Train setters to err on the side of setting the ball inside of the net, rather than pushing it outside of the antenna. It's easier for hitters to re-route their approach inside instead of reaching across the body.
Requirements: At least one setter and one hitter, balls and a full court.
