Ross, a silver medalist at the London Olympics in 2012, helped her injured partner every step of the way by going above and beyond. She passed more than half the court – sometimes WAY more than half – and ripped her jump serve better than ever and hit repeatedly on two. Ross was so impressive that she received the WSOBV MVP award even though Brazil’s Larissa and Talita won the tournament.
